Official operational guidelines, safety protocols, and student merchant documentation for the FUTAMart ecosystem.

Institutional Framework

FUTAMart is an independent student initiative. While we facilitate commerce within the FUTA community, users must understand the following boundaries:

Autonomy

We operate outside of the University Management structure. All disputes are handled internally by the FUTAMart Moderation Unit.

Compliance

We strictly adhere to the FUTA Student Handbook regulations regarding illegal items and conduct.

Anti-Fraud Directive

Primary Golden Rule

"Physical Inspection Before Digital Transaction."

1 Verification Protocol

Never pay for an item via Bank Transfer, OPay, or Moniepoint until you have physically held the item in your hand and verified its condition at a campus safe zone.

2 Landmark Necessity

Do not meet sellers at off-campus locations or private hostels after dark. Only use high-traffic campus landmarks like the SUB or School Library.

Authorized Safe-Exchange Landmarks

Student Union Building

Best for: Electronics and Fashion. High visibility at all hours.

Albert Ilemobade Library

Best for: Textbooks and Stationery. Quiet and professional.

Akindeko Hall Gate

Best for: Household items and urgent exchanges.

Restricted Marketplace Assets

Listing any of the following items will result in an immediate and permanent account registry ban:

Alcohol & Tobacco
CBT/Exam Answers
Medical Substances
Assignment Proxies
Unauthorized Software
Bank/Fintech Logs
